Start moving forward!

Join the 21 day WhatsApp Accountability Group

WhatsApp Accountability Group (WAG)

We all have things that we want to do but have trouble starting. Or maybe we're struggling to do them consistently. Joining a group and making ourselves accountable through a public commitment is a fantastic way to start moving forward.

How it works

At the bottom of this page you can register your details and I'll send you an email you when the next WAG is starting. Each group lasts 21 days.

You'll then receive an invite to join the WhatsApp group. In the WhatsApp group we each commit to doing something each day. Whenever we achieve our task we post to the group. The group is our witness. It's that simple.

We encourage each other by writing a comment or posting an emoji when someone checks off their daily task.

This is not a group for chatting. If you need support reach out to someone individually outside the group space. Let's agree to keep the focus on our daily commitments.

Fear of failure

If you miss a day (or 20) it’s no problem. You don’t need to offer excuses. Tomorrow is another day. This is not about being perfect or keeping score. Don't let your fear of failure stop you from moving forward in the best way you can.

Making a commitment

You can commit to anything you like. It can be big or small, it's up to you. Why not start with something small for your first WAG? You can always do another WAG in future. Here are some examples of daily commitments:

  • Get up at the same time
  • Take a cold shower
  • Write 750 words
  • Dance 15 minutes
  • Spend 10 mintues in nature
  • Meditate
  • Walk 10 000 steps
  • Read for 10 minutes
  • Draw or paint
  • Smile at a stranger

Changing your mind

If you change your mind after joining a group and feel it's not for you, then you can leave the WhatsApp group at any time. Some people find it helpful just being in a group even if they don't make a commitment. That's ok too. If it inspires you then join and be a witness. You are also free to join another group in future.
